The beautiful work of Len Lye.
UPDATE: As you will see from the comments – Roger Horrocks has written what looks to be a great book on Len Lye (which also includes a DVD of some of the films). Available to buy in the UK from Amazon, and there are some further links for international orders in the comments.

He’s great isn’t he?
On your website you’ve expressed an interest in the artist and film-maker Len Lye. I’ve just written a book about this artist – “Art that Moves: The Work of Len Lye” (Auckland University Press). Overseas readers don’t get to hear about books published in New Zealand, so I’d be grateful if you could mention this one.
The book discusses Lye’s films and kinetic sculptures and his ideas about movement. It also includes a DVD with four of his films and footage of five sculptures, plus a dramatised documentary about the artist. The first pages of the book can be read at: http://web.auckland.ac.nz/uoa/fms/default/aup/book/2009%20images/horrocks-lenlye.pdf. If anyone wants to order the book, I suggest: auckland@unitybooks.co.nz (New Zealand), http://www.inbooks.com.au (Australia), http://www.eurospanbookstore.com (Europe), or http://www.ipgbook.com (North America).
Thanks for the info Roger – looks like a great book.
